From Beyond Repair to Running Better than Before: A Shredder Refurbishment

A client shredder arrived at Eilbeck’s Ingleburn workshop in rough shape – jammed and fused cutters, destroyed bearings and seals, and shafts damaged beyond use.

The Eilbeck team stripped the machine back, repaired and replaced all defective components, rebuilt worn parts, and fitted new bearings, seals and fasteners throughout.

The shredder is back in service and running better than it did before the refurbishment.

Refurbishment work is part of what Eilbeck’s shredder service team does day to day, on Eilbeck-built machines and on machines from other manufacturers. Having the engineering, fabrication and workshop capability in-house means a badly damaged machine can be brought back into service, instead of scrapped, extending the life of your machines.
