A Closer Look: Quantum Power’s Quality Assurance Visit
Before their 7272 Primary Shredder and 6060 Rasper shredding line left Ingleburn for North Carolina, the team from Quantum Power came to Eilbeck’s workshop to see it for themselves.

The visit covered four key quality assurance steps:
- Factory Acceptance Testing – running the assembled shredders and processing line through operational sequences to verify performance against specification.
- Weld and Tolerance Checks – detailed inspection of welds, surface finishes and dimensional tolerances, with any required adjustments made on the spot.
- Load and Performance Testing – testing the shredders under representative load to validate throughput, torque/speed curves and heat generation.
- Sign-off Walkthrough – a final check of the complete system with the client to confirm it meets all requirements and is ready to ship.
For Quantum Power, it was a chance to see up close the equipment they’d only seen in designs and photos until then.
For Eilbeck, it’s a process we offer every client – the opportunity to inspect and approve a machine while it’s still in our workshop, with our engineering and production teams on hand to talk through any queries or changes.
It’s a level of visibility and involvement that’s only possible when the design, manufacturing and testing are all happening in the same place – something we see as a real advantage of keeping the work in Australia, in our own facilities.
